GDI Overview

The Global Diffusion of the Internet (GDI) Project is a multi-year project undertaken by The Mosaic Group to measure and analyze the growth of the Internet throughout the world.   The research approach uses the nation-state as the unit of analysis and includes the development of an analytic framework for capturing the state of the Internet with a country at a particular point in time.   Since the project's inception in 1997, nearly 30 countries have been studied.
